After obtaining the degrees B.A. (in 1999) and LL.B from the University of Stellenbosch in (2001), Elzanne joined Minde Schapiro and Smith in 2002 as a Candidate Attorney. She was admitted as an Attorney and a Notary Public in 2004 and as Conveyancer in 2007. Elzanne now practices in the areas of Corporate Recoveries and Commercial and Corporate Litigation, both in the Magistrate's Court and the High Court. She currently serves as a member of the Magistrate's Court Committee of the Cape Law Society and on the committee of the Tygerberg Attorneys Association and has been since 2009, and also sits as a Commissioner of the Small Claims Court. Elzanne attends to these duties pro bono and in service to the legal profession and the community.
