Heinrich leads our firm as managing director and as director of the Litigation Department where he applies his expertise in High Court litigation.
After obtaining BA and LLB degrees from the University of Stellenbosch, he joined the firm as a candidate attorney in 1993. By 1999 he was made a partner. Heinrich is known as someone who is always open to embracing new ideas, without compromising his strong work ethics and principles. Passionate about pro bono community work, Heinrich has served as a Commissioner of the Small Claims Court for the area of Tygerberg since 2009.
Once an avid lronman and Comrades Marathon participant, he now simply jogs for pleasure and to keep up with his two sport-loving children, whom he calls his “greatest personal accomplishment”.
Rosalie joined the firm in 2000 straight after graduating from the University of Stellenbosch, obtaining B. Comm and LLB degrees. She was admitted as an attorney in 2003 and as notary public in 2006. Rosalie specialises in family law, foreclosures, High Court litigation and Magistrate’s Court litigation. Rosalie also serves as a Commissioner for the Small Claims court as part of her pro bono service to the community.
With excellent organisational skills, her working philosophy centres on attention to detail and giving honest and forthright advice. When not at work, she enjoys cooking for her family and travelling.
Elzanne specialises in administrative law, public interest law and local government/municipal litigation. She joined the firm in 2002 as a candidate attorney, after graduating with BA and LLB degrees from the University of Stellenbosch in 2001. She was admitted as an attorney and a notary public in 2004 and as a conveyancer in 2007. Elzanne served on the Tygerberg Attorneys Association for five years. She currently serves on the Cape Law Society Magistrate’s Court Committee. In addition, she has continued to serve as a Commissioner of the Small Claims Court since 2010.
Jonathan has a wealth of experience. As a director, he manages our branch office in Port Elizabeth. His areas of expertise include High Court litigation and commercial, corporate and property advice. An old boy from Grey High School in Port Elizabeth, he was awarded B.Comm and LLB degrees from the University of Port Elizabeth (subsequently renamed the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University), and an LLM degree from the University of South Africa. He believes strongly in paying attention to detail but not losing sight of the big picture. in his spare time, he enjoys reading, watching movies and spending time with friends
Venesen completed his LLB degree in 2002 and subsequently obtained a Post Graduate Certificate in Labour Law at the University of Kwa~Zulu Natal. He completed his articles at Mason incorporated in Pietermaritzburg and practised at the firm as an associate for 3 years specialising in High Court and Magistrates Court litigation. Venesen joined Lynn & Main lncorporated in March 2008 focusing primarily on Specialised Recoveries. He later joined TMJ Attorneys in August 2010, specialising in High Court litigation and was promoted to director in 2013.
Venesen relocated to Cape Town in September 2016 when he joined the Mindes team, specialising in commercial recoveries and civil litigation. Venesen has a keen interest in commercial and civil litigation, insurance, debt recovery and personal injury law
